Hot & Cold Stone Massage Therapy

Smooth volcanic Basalt stones of different sizes are pre heated before the client arrives.

The client may lay or have certain hot or cold stones placed in specific areas around their body, and then warmed oil is massaged into the skin followed by the application of the soothing warm stones, for a full body massage.

The direct heat relaxes the muscles quicker giving a more effective intense treatment, and promoting dynamic healing.

The combination of heat and massage together has a powerful sedative and calming effect on the body, and allows the therapist to work into deeper layers of the body, resulting in a better release of muscle tension.

It is believed that the combination of warmth and cool treatments encourage the body to relax, detox and heal quicker.

This treatment is lighter in pressure and more gentle compared to my regular massage techniques, but has a deeper and more grounding and more balancing effect.

It is a truly nurturing, magical & uber relaxing experience.
